Introducing the Sonoran Turquoise Starlight Earrings by Skylar Glandon, a unique addition to our handmade jewelry collection. Crafted with love and precision, these earrings are unlike any other.
The earrings feature Sonoran Mountain turquoise, a gemstone mined near the city of Cananea in Sonora, Mexico. This turquoise is unique as it forms inside clay deposits as individual nuggets, giving each stone a unique shape and size. The deep blue coloring of the stone, speckled with brown, adds a touch of elegance to these earrings.
The turquoise stones are adorned with two three-dimensional silver stars, hand-cut and fitted together by Skylar Glandon. The process of creating these stars is intricate and time-consuming, making each earring a work of art. Creating these was a work of engineering, requiring precise measurements and a great deal of work. Attaching each element together took more time.
These turquoise earrings are perfect for summer. The colors are bright and cheerful, while the stars are reminiscent of summertime stargazing. They are so charming!
